CPLR, INC.’s corporate purpose of conducting seminars, trainings, and certification programs and its objective of admitting affiliates have been approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) under Registration No. 2023070108599-01. Its roster of program consultants includes lawyers engaged in court litigation and those who teach as law school professors.

Under Section 3(h) of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Act of 2016, “CPD credit unit refers to the value of an amount of learning that can be transferred to a qualification achieved from formal, informal or nonformal learning setting, wherein credits can be accumulated to predetermined levels for the award of a qualification.” Thus, formal, informal, and nonformal learning settings, whenever relevant, are allowed or legally entitled to CPD credit units. Despite the above, it is internal policy not to comment on the proper computation or calculation of earned CPD units as CPLR, INC. leaves the same to the proper government authority. To enroll, one must be a college student or a college graduate of any major or degree and under any specialization. Proof of this will be required during the training period. During the enrollment stage, there are only two requirements: (a) one (1) valid identification (ID) card; and (b) proof of payment of the enrollment fee.

CPLR, INC. lectures and examinations are conducted purely online. Lecture recordings will be available during the training period for those who are unable to attend live. Materials and examinations are accessible via Moodle, CPLR, INC.’s learning management system (LMS).

The professional affiliation postnominal designation titles “CePL,” “CeLR,” “CeRS,” “CeJP,” “CeHRS,” etc. are under the ownership, first use and good will of CPLR, INC. They are designations granted to enrollees who have garnered a grade of at least 75.00% in their final exams and are thus admitted as affiliates or fellows of CPLR, INC., they having met all the requirements for such admission and conferment. They are so designated and so granted with conferment by CPLR, INC. as a symbol of their professional affiliation or fellowship and their proven competence and proficiency. Their enrollment in and admission to any of CPLR, INC.'s Roll of Affiliates is pursuant to the constitutional right to self-organization. CPLR, INC.’s corporate powers include the admission of professional affiliates or fellows, with the concurrent authority to recognize their professional association with it. Hence, CPLR, INC. encourages its affiliates to use their post-nominal affiliation designations as a proud indication of their status as such. This is in the same way that physicians use the post-nominal title “FPPS” to signal their fellowship with the Philippine Pediatrics Society, Inc., for example. In the same manner, if Juan A. Dela Cruz has been officially admitted as an affiliate of CPLR, INC., the latter allows him/her to signal his/her affiliation to the professional world as “JUAN A. DELA CRUZ, CePL.”
